2. Invest in the relationship. Even with a virtual assistant, make them feel like they’re included in your team. Spend face-to-face time with them and make sure they’re aware of the company’s goals. Let them know that their work contributes to the success of the whole team. 

3. Conduct multiple interviews. Don’t hire the first resume that comes across your desk. You owe it to yourself to find the best candidate possible.
