Did you know there are three skills that every agent must master in order to essentially write their own checks? These are the three dominos you need to knock down to launch your real estate career to the next level in as little as four weeks:
1. Inside sales. These are mostly phone skills, or the ability to convert a stranger into a customer. Building rapport is an important skill for a real estate professional to have. An agent can’t meet someone unless they set an appointment first, so talking on the phone is often the first impression.
2. Outside sales. This is all about getting face to face with a customer. What are you telling them to convince them to hire you?
3. Become a market expert. This is all about contracts and negotiations. It’s the first thing most new agents want to learn, but it’s the last domino to master when it comes to building your business. My advice is to learn all you can about negotiating and contracts if you want to be a successful agent.
