The top three indicators of success for any real estate agent.

How do you know if an agent will do well in real estate? If you’ve been on the fence about starting a real estate career, today’s topic is for you. After interviewing hundreds of agents, I’ve narrowed down my list of indicators of whether an agent will do well, and I want to share the top three:

1. Can work full time with no distractions. For most people, real estate is a major career change. After all, it’s a completely commission-based industry. To launch your business off the ground, you have to apply a ton of effort, so you need to work full time.

2. Coachability. You need to get behind someone who is already at the place you want to go and be open to their feedback. It takes a lot of courage to do things that are outside of your comfort zone, so having the ability to follow through on a more experienced agent’s feedback is important.

“You have to apply a ton of effort in the beginning, so you need to work full time.”

3. Positive attitude. This is going to help you spot opportunities that others would miss. Sales is 80% about mindset—I can take a positive person and coach them to the top any day.

If you have any questions about whether real estate is a good fit for you or what it’s like to make that career move, feel free to call me anytime at 904-509-2253. I would love to chat.
