Three great ways to stay relevant with past clients during tax season.
Looking for a great way to get in front of your past customers this month? Today, I’m here with three ways you can be top of mind and possibly even get a referral. Start by taking a look at the list of homes you sold last year. Since it’s tax season, it’s also time to file for a homestead exemption, and you can help them with that in three ways:
1. Call them. Then you can see if they need a copy of their settlement statement from their closing last year.
2. Email them. They probably have the document, but they’ll have to search for it. If you help them avoid that hassle, you will show how helpful you are and be at the top of their minds.
3. Visit in person. Bringing a copy of their statement to them in person or making an excuse to bring them a cup of coffee during tax time are two great ways to get in front of past clients. Also, during this time, you could easily ask them if they know anyone who is looking to buy or sell a house this year.
